Jan 28, Heidelberg India organized a seminar on 'prepress' at Sivakasi, reinforcing its dominance and success in a key market. The event, which was held at the Sivakasi Master Printer Association Hall, witnessed huge participation from close to 100 printers in and around the printing hub of South India. The well-attended seminar included sessions on prepress and Heidelberg solutions portfolio.

The seminar was followed by a two-day training session on prepress at the same venue. The session, conducted in batches, was interactive, as enthusiastic participants created their own prepress files with the help of Heidelberg’s Prinect Workflow. Heidelberg experts expounded on prepress tools and options, including the creation of qualified PDF, imposition, integration, color correction, trapping and coating etc. Demos on various tools related to Packaging Workflow were also shown to the printers.
Mohammed Rafi of Olympic quoted, “The training was informative and insightful. In our line of business, last-minute corrections and pagination changes from the client's side are inevitable, but with the Prinect’s PDF tool box, we can perform miracles outright”.
